Jacob May is an Oakland, California-based design company specializing in producing classic American furniture and accessories that are simple, elegant and made ethically from sustainable materials.

Each new design is a labor of love: built, deconstructed then re-built until all the elements have been unified and pared down into their most essential form. Finishing practices used at the studio reflect the belief that furniture grows more beautiful and unique with age and use.
